How to clean and maintain window film

Window film requires regular cleaning and maintenance, otherwise its service life will be shortened. In order to make the window film last longer, we need to do a good job in cleaning and maintaining it:

1. After the window is coated with film, do not move the glass within one week, and do not wipe the coated glass with water within 15 days.

2. Do not place corrosive chemical agents next to the building membrane window to prevent volatilization and corrosion of the membrane surface, or reaction with metal ions in the membrane body, which may affect its use.

3. Do not scratch the surface of the glass film with hard objects in daily life. Wipe off the water vapor on the film in a timely manner. If conditions permit, apply glass glue around the glass.

4. It is necessary to regularly clean the window film. When cleaning the glass window film, gently and evenly spray the cleaning agent on the surface of the window film. Then, use a clean, soft cotton cloth or absorbent cloth to gently dry the window film, and dip it in alcohol to wipe the stains and fingerprints on the window film.

5. If the stains are not cleaned, it is necessary to spray cleaning solution again and use a soft rubber scraper to scrape the window film horizontally from top to bottom until it is completely dry.

6. It is not advisable to hang or fix any items with suction cups or adhesive on the film coated glass, nor to stick adhesive decorations on the window film. If there is adhesive tape, instant stickers, or stickers on the window film that are left behind when removing these materials, a soft clean cotton cloth dipped in acetone can be used to gently scrub the contaminated area, and the remaining adhesive on the window film can be quickly and completely removed.
